Motorhome campsites in and around Torrevieja
There are hardly any campsites in Torrevieja itself: the good ones are 10–25 minutes away, in San Miguel de Salinas, Guardamar, Pilar de la Horadada and La Marina. Here are the ones we know and what each offers, so you can choose by what you're after: beach, pool or peace and quiet.

The closest to Torrevieja
Camping Florantilles (San Miguel de Salinas)
About 6 km from Torrevieja, on higher ground overlooking orange groves and the La Mata salt lagoon. Open all year, with a very international feel in winter. There's no restaurant, but there is a bar-café and a shop with fresh bread. The pools open in summer only.

By the beach
Alannia Guardamar (Guardamar del Segura)
A camping resort next to the Guardamar Dunes Nature Park, with the beach about 800 metres away through the pine woods. Open all year, with an outdoor pool in season and a heated indoor pool in winter, plus a restaurant, supermarket and gym.

Camping Lo Monte (Pilar de la Horadada)
South of Torrevieja, close to the beaches of Torre de la Horadada and a short drive from the Mar Menor. A quiet atmosphere, good facilities and well rated by motorhome travellers.

La Marina Resort (La Marina, Elche)
A large camping resort north of Guardamar, among pine trees and close to La Marina beach. Pools, a restaurant, a supermarket and activities for children.
Tips for sleeping in a motorhome in Torrevieja
- Near the sea, take care: in several coastal areas of Torrevieja the council has put up signs banning vehicles wider than 2.2 metres, and a motorhome is one of them.
- Nature park: around the La Mata and Torrevieja lagoons you can't park a motorhome overnight.
- On the street: you can park, but not camp (no awning, tables or chairs). To sleep, a campsite or a service area is better.
- Winter: from November to March the campsites fill up with travellers from northern Europe. Book early.
- Prices: they change every season. Check the campsite's website before you go.
